BPO Curing

Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) can be used as an initiator for polyester thermoset resins, as an alternative to methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP). For instance, PMMA resins and vinyl-esters can be polymerized with benzoyl peroxide. UI is a leading producer of all applied BPO-grades, such as pastes, powders and liquids.

Continuous Laminating

Continuous Lamination is a process whereby impregnated reinforcement fibers are guided through pressing and guiding rolls where the desired composite lay-up is formed. Curing of the Laminate is made at elevated temperature and pressure. UI is a leading producer of MIBKP (Pulcat).
